Net-Zero Family Home

This one's special. The clients wanted a home that'd barely touch the grid, but they weren't willing to sacrifice comfort or style. We integrated solar panels into the roof design so seamlessly you'd hardly notice 'em, added geothermal heating, and used reclaimed timber throughout. The result? Energy bills that make their neighbors jealous and a space that feels warm year-round.

Yaletown Tech Hub

Converting an old warehouse into a modern office space? Yeah, we've heard it before. But this client actually wanted to preserve the industrial character while making it functional for today's workforce. Exposed brick stays, original timber beams became features, and we added floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The HVAC system runs on 60% less energy than conventional setups.

False Creek Community Center

This project had everyone nervous at first - taking on a public space means answering to a whole community, not just one client. But we spent months just listening. Talked to locals, observed traffic patterns, studied how people actually used the old building. The new design prioritizes accessibility, natural ventilation, and flexible spaces that adapt to different needs throughout the day.

We're particularly proud of the solar array that powers the building during peak hours and the community garden integrated into the landscaping. It's become a gathering spot that folks genuinely enjoy spending time in.
